VISITORS TO CAMPUS
Rec Sports facilities are available for the use by guests and visitors to campus, including:
- Part-time summer employees
- Candidates interviewing for a job
- Guest speakers
- Prospective students/faculty/staff and families
- Conference attendees
- Summer camp participants
- and many more
All Rec Sports participants - including students, faculty and staff - pay a membership/usage fee to enjoy recreational facility privileges. Consistent with this practice, guests and visitors to campus are subject to the following fees (although arrangements can be made for longer term use). Please contact Membership Services at 734-763-3084 weekdays between 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or e-mail recsports@umich.edu.
Payment Options: Sponsoring departments have the option of paying for all participants, or by submitting a roster of all attendees and allowing individuals to purchase a membership. Memberships may be purchased at the CCRB Business Office weekdays between 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Notification of Request: The sponsoring department will be notified through e-mail regarding the status of the request. The notification will include the cost associated with the use of the facilities. Departments are encouraged to let participants know the cost of membership in advance. The Membership Services Office will provide facility hours and maps to each participant when they register.
