Frequently-Asked Questions for Soccer - Women

Who can Join?

Any U-M female, full-time student can join. We are allowed 6 years of eligibility, so grad students or 5th year students who previously played elsewhereor varsity only have two years of eligibility left.

Are there tryouts?

Yes, Tryouts are September 8-10, from 8:30-10:30pm at Elbel Field.

What is the best way to join?

The only way to join is to attend tryouts.

How often does your club compete?

We compete almost every weekend from September to about mid-November.

Are there club dues?

There is a tryout fee of $20, and dues of $500. If we go to Nationals, players must cover those expenses as well.

Does the club provide the necessary equipment? Or do members need

The club provides the equipment, but players must provide their own cleats and shin-guards. Those who make the team must also pay for team warmups and socks.
