Frequently-Asked Questions for Fencing
Who can join?
Currently-enrolled students with valid M-Card, those with a Department of Recreational Sports membership and an M-Card or those that purchase a Club Sports Limited User Pass.
Are there tryouts?
No. We welcome everyone, and most of our members never fenced before they joined the club.
What is the best way to join?
Show up at practice, or email me or another officer (list on the website) with any questions.
How often does your club compete?
About every other weekend during winter semester (collegiate competitions), but there are USFA (not collegiate) tournaments throughout the year which we encourage our members to attend.
Are there club dues?
Yes. Dues vary by semester/financial state of the club. The club provides all necessary equipment, though many members choose to purchase their own.
