Frequently-Asked Questions for Volleyball - Women
Are there tryouts?
Yes, tryouts are held each fall. The Fall 2009 tryout schedule is: Sep. 22nd and 24th - Open Gyms, CCRB, 7-930 pm Sep. 29th, Oct. 1st, Oct. 6th - Tryouts, CCRB, 7-10 pm
How often does your club compete?
There are 3-4 tournaments fall semester and 4-5 tournaments winter semester plus nationals in Dallas.
Are there club dues?
Yes; dues are TBD but '08-'09 dues were $475 for the year. Dues cover uniforms, travel, equipment, coaching, etc.
Does the club provide the necessary equipment? Or do members need to bring their own?
Members should provide their own shoes, kneepads, and spandex. Jerseys and practice equipment are provided by the club.
