Instant Scheduling Explained

Instant Scheduling is a one-day sign-up. On Instant Scheduling Day, team managers come in to register their teams. On that day, the managers also select the days and times that they will play during the regular season. The earlier a team manager registers, the better choices of days and times are available.

For regular-season Instant Scheduling, the team manager needs to come to the Intramural Sports Building during the scheduled time with the team fee and an idea from his or her teammates on their preferred playing dates and times. Managers should also have the ID numbers of their players, for the initial roster. A completed entry form is helpful, but blank entry forms will be available at the Intramural Sports Building.

For playoff Instant Scheduling, the team manager needs to come to the Intramural Sports Building during the scheduled time to register their team for playoffs. It is helpful for the team manager to have the information sheet given to them at regular-season Instant Scheduling, but it is not necessary.
